Owned by Dove Motor Sports, the track is one of NASCAR's shorter ones at three-quarters of a mile. Memphis Motorsports Park is the host of a NASCAR Nationwide Series race and a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. There is also a drag strip, 4400 feet long, for various drag racing events. There is seating for 28,000 spectators in the stands. Among the various track records: In 2000, Kevin Harvick won the NASCAR Nationwide Series Race in 2 hours, 1 minute, 49 seconds, running at an average 92.352 mph
