Darlington Raceway Tickets

On Labor Day of 1950, Darlington Raceway, located in Darlington, South Carolina first opened and has since been a staple on the NASCAR stock car circuit. With a reputation of being "The Track Too Tough to Tame," the track's unusual egg shape has lived up to that designation. The length of the track is 1.37 miles with four turns. Its surface is asphalt. The track's stands seat some 65,000 spectators, and most of these seats are usually filled for its NASCAR Sprint Cup races. The lap record at Darlington is 0:28.295, held by Ward Burton of Bill Davis Racing in the 1996 race.
